Redundancies

Some members hold concerns that the AFP is beginning a redundancy campaign. Today I have spoken to NMHR Rudi Lammers and he has explained that the AFP is attempting to gauge the level of interest that some employees may have in accepting a voluntary redundancy. NMHR states that there was and is no intention what so ever to enforce involuntary redundancies on any AFP employees.
I accept this as legitimate business planning. If any member in any business area feels that they are being coerced in accepting an involuntary redundancy, please notify your AFPA delegate who will then notify me. I will take any specific issue relating to involuntary redundancy directly to NMHR.
