Free Access to the Australian Police Journal
Sunday 31st January, 2010
Articles in the APJ are written by police all around the world (both serving and retired), unsworn employees, public safety officials, academics or anyone with a legitimate interest in law enforcement matters. AFPA members are encouraged to contribute articles to the APJ, and can be provided with editorial assistance to assist in readying an article for publication.
APJ articles cover a range of issues in policing and law enforcement. In the past, high-quality coverage provided by the APJ has included:
• the important role played by police during natural disasters
• information on organisations that work to advance the profession of policing
• stories on serious crime, including gang warfare and drug busts
• police-related policy issues, such as ideas on how to improve road safety
Warning: The APJ can from time to time contain some graphic/disturbing images and should be kept away from young children.
Hard copies of the journal are also available upon request. Just let us know of your interest, and we’ll add you to the mailing list. If you are currently in receipt of the journal though other avenues, let us know so you can be placed on the AFPA mailing list.
As the closing date for receiving hard copies of the APJ is fast approaching, please let us know as soon as possible if you would like a copy mailed to you.
