AFPA ready to ensure federal law enforcement and national security remains a priority during Federal Election 2010
Saturday 17th July, 2010
Today the Prime Minister announced that Australians will go to the polls for the next Federal Election on 21 August 2010. The AFPA will formally submit to all political parties our proposal for improvements in federal law enforcement and national security. The AFPA has had informal discussions with the major political parties and we are hopeful of achieving similar successes to that achieved by the AFPA during the 2007 Federal Election.
It is important for members to note that the AFPA is a-political and does not make any donations to any political party. This places the AFPA in an excellent professional position to impartially provide advice to political parties on behalf of the professional men and women of the Australian Federal Police and federal law enforcement and national security generally.

AFPA National President
